I spent twenty years in the Air Force, and one lesson stuck for good: quality gear matters. When what you are issued is cheap and it fails you, you learn fast how much the right gear is worth. So when I saw a place where I could actually make that better, where a well-built bag could improve the small daily experience of the person carrying it, I jumped at it. That's Nexus.
I carry one value straight from the Air Force into everything I design: service before self. I build for the person carrying the bag, not for a spec sheet, and I build it to endure. Nothing you carry should quit on you.
